Necessary Items

The Beatles: Rock Band Software
PlayStation 3 Console
Broadband Internet Connection
PlayStation 3 Controller

Connecting to the PlayStation Network

Connect your PlayStation 3 to your broadband internet connection
Sign up for a PlayStation Network account in the Home Menu and then follow the on-screen instructions to create an account
Once your account is created, you can purchase new content for The Beatles: Rock Band! First add funds to your PlayStation Network Wallet so you can purchase more albums and songs from The Beatles: Rock Band. To use this feature, you may be required to update the system software.

Downloading New Albums and Songs to Play
Downloading new songs from the In-Game Music Store is a great way to keep your playlist fresh and diverse for The Beatles: Rock Band

Adding funds
You can add funds to the wallet using a credit card.

Select Account Management under PlayStation®Network in the home menu
Select Transaction Management
Select Add Funds. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the operation
Now you’re all set to download new albums and songs for The Beatles: Rock Band from either the In-Game Music Store or the PlayStation Store.

Option 1: In-Game Music Store
Before entering the In-Game Music Store please ensure that your PlayStation 3 is connected to the internet, you have setup a PlayStation Network account and have enough money in your PlayStation Wallet to purchase additional albums and songs.

Insert The Beatles: Rock Band into your PlayStation 3 and power on your console
On the Main Menu screen, select Music Store
Select the albums and/or songs you would like to play and select Purchase
On the next screen that pops up, select Confirm Download
Option 2: PlayStation Store
To use this feature, you may be required to update the system software

Select PlayStation®Store under PlayStation®Network in the home menu
If you have a PlayStation® Network account but have not signed in to PlayStation® Network, the sign-in screen will be displayed
Select View All by Title
Navigate to The Beatles: Rock Band
Select the albums and/or songs you would like to purchase
Select Buy Now if you are ready to check out or select Add to Cart if you would like to continue shopping
Select View Cart to display the items currently in your shopping cart
Select Proceed to Checkout – The Purchase confirmation page is displayed
Select Confirm Purchase – The purchase amount is removed from your account and then the purchase is completed
Select the item to download. Your PS3 system begins to download the item. Once the song has completed downloading it will automatically appear in the game as a playable song.
That’s it! The newly purchased albums/songs will appear automatically as playable songs in The Beatles: Rock Band once the download has completed.
